Compass • April 18, 2014Carl Schurz Park is a perfect place to relax for those who look for grassy areas outside of Central Park. A small field is perfect for sunbathicng or reading and a dog park lets pets run around.
David C. • Agustus 31, 2016I concur with the past comments. This park is a gem in The UES. The pool is one of the best I've ever swum at. And this park is riddled with rats. Around 530 pm in the summer = Rats Central.
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • Januari 24, 2019Beautiful park with incredible potential, great for running with rewarding views from the waterfront including the Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridge. Convenient place to check out the Annual July4 fireworks
Compass • April 18, 2014After $1.4 million in renovations, the park near the East River features a sandbox, swings, climbing net, and giant swimming pool for kids of all ages.
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • Januari 18, 2022This is my running track and also a great location to just enjoy a brisk walk when it's a nice day out with soothing views of Queens / Brooklyn
Compass • April 18, 2014Near FDR Drive in the 60s, St. Catherine’s Park is popular with the after-school crowd. A tennis wall, handball courts, and small running track are used frequently for friendly pick-up games.
Cora G. • September 1, 2012Very calm and quiet park! Nice place to read and relax in the neighborhood. The construction hadn't quite reached the area.
Gregory R. • September 1, 2014Its an OK park with its biggest downside that it has the FDR on one side and the Queensborough bridge above. Traffic noise. Has basketball court, handball court, and two playgrounds.
